CERTIFICATIONS OFFERED THROUGH S.A.I.L.S.

The certification classes takes your leaders through a series of intensive learning modules. When they complete a learning module, they will receive the Certificate of Achievement in that particular area of study. If they are in a program, after completing the required learning modules, the student will receive a Certification in that program. 

CLASS, INDEPENDENT STUDY, and  STUDY PROGRAM FOR YOUR ORGANIZATION:

Throughout the year various certification classes and programs will be offered. The student can sign up for one of these classes or programs.

The learner can also choose to enter into our independent study program. This program is limited to a maximum of two (2) students per instructor. There is a modest additional cost for this service. 

Finally, your organization can take your entire team through a class or program (this can be customized to fit the needs of your particular business or ministry). 

PROGRAM MODULES:

Shepherd Leadership Theory:  This course introduces students to foundational principles and practices for effective leadership using the Shepherd Leadership Model. Students will gain competency in:

Mobilization of Volunteers:

This course will investigate ways to mobilize and engage volunteers. It will defend the value of volunteers, and their relationship within an organization. The topics examined will include: types of recruitment methods, importance of background checks, communicating organizational mission statements, goals and values, training, retention, volunteer tasks and expectations, motivation, reward systems and performance improvement for both volunteers and staff. Throughout the course, you will develop a practice scenario of organizing volunteers and staff for a specific event.

MINISTRY TRAINING PROGRAM

Although we recognize that God has called all believers to minister for the Kingdom of God, the term ordination is the acknowledgment by a community of believers that a person has been called by God into vocational ministry. One word in Biblical Greek that is translated, "ordain" is διατάσσομαι meaning to command, appoint, ordain, set in order, give orders. The word "minister" in Biblical Greek is διάκονος which means to be a servant (in the strictest terms it means to wait upon tables). When the two words are combined, "ordained minister," we get the definition "To appoint one to serve" or "appointed servant." This is the heart of a true minister for God. 

This program is designed to train a person to become efficient and effective in ministry. Because the work of God is so important, we as His laborers must be equipped and proficient in this work to make an impact for the Kingdom of God. 

Although many use this internship program in their own churches and ministries, we also provide opportunities for individuals to come under the covering of Christian Concepts to impact the world for Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God.
